For the fourth year in a row Cliff Models & Prototypes has been the exclusive show model supplier for Electrolux Design Lab 2008.

The 2008 Electrolux Design Lab, the sixth edition of this annual competition, challenged students from all over the world to create concepts with this years theme; iGeneration. With this meaning to create tomorrow’s home appliances for the Internet generation.

Submissions were futuristic (approximately 2-3 years) and addressed food storage, cooking, and/or washing. More than 600 entries were received from 49 countries around the world. Out of all the entries nine finalists have been chosen and the models displayed in the competition have been created at Cliff Models & Prototypes Göteborg, Sweden.

The winner will be presented in Zürich, Switzerland on Octobre 9th 2008 and the the jurors will choose a winner from amongst the finalists based on the proposed concepts’ design and innovation, while taking functional, aesthetic and emotional aspects into account.
